About The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art

Live Event Information
We encourage all bidders to use your highest possible Proxy Bid to give you the best chance of winning the piece. The online portion of the auction will end at noon on Thursday, September 24. When the online auction ends, only the Leading Bidder will advance. You will be notified by email if you are the Leading Bidder or if you have been outbid.
If you are the Leading Bidder and cannot attend the event, your Proxy Bid will be used at the silent auction at Guastavino's in New York. The Carle Staff will bid for you against other on-site bidders by placing bids on the bid sheet in $100 increments, bidding only as high as necessary to secure the piece. The silent auction will run from 5:30 pm until the ending bell at 9:00 pm. All winning bidders will be notified via email within 24 hours.
