About Our Auction

Volunteer fire fighters have been battling unprecedented and catastrophic fires throughout the Eastern States of Australia since September. They need our monetary support in order to continue fighting this unfathomable battle.

To show our support, we are hosting an evening of spoken word by Howard Horner, Gabriel Akamo, Jess Kambitsis and Léoni Hughes with comedy by Ray Badran, Anne Edmonds, Ben Pope, Laura Smyth and the Fish Girls and live music from Nathan Whitebrook. Doors will open at 6.30pm, where you’ll be able to join us for some drinks and snacks, with performances kicking off at 7pm.

Tickets are priced at £15 and funds will be going directly to the Victoria Country Fire Authority and New South Wales Rural Fire Service. There will be wine, beer and sodas available to purchase on the night plus a raffle with some awesome prizes to be won: from a Caravan Coffee Roasters annual coffee subscription; to a meal for two and plenty more. Acts are to be announced soon!

Grab your ticket now and we’ll see you next Sunday – don’t forget to bring your mobile ticket as proof of entry! Let's raise as much money for Australia as we can.

More about the acts:

Widely considered to be one of the rising stars in Australian comedy, his 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show was selected to as part of 'Live at the Edinburgh Fringe' for Audible.

Anne Edmonds is a four-time Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Show nominee and a regular on Australian panel shows. Anne’s formidable sarong-wearing, fashion expert Helen Bidou has become a viral sensation after appearing on Australian television and she has written and starred in her own show, The Edge of the Bush, described as “ABC’s most original comedy in years” (Daily Beast).

Laura Smyth has been described as a 'force of nature' (Chortle). The East-Londoner is new to the comedy circuit but 'sounds as if she has been doing it all her life' (Beyond The Joke). She is the winner of The Funny Women Stage Award 2019.

Ben Pope is a stand up comedian and a 'total delight' (Fest Mag) living in London and gigging all over the UK. As seen on BBC3 and Comedy Central Online.

The Fish Girls (Mary-Grace Brunker, Felicity Wilson and Caitlin Burke) are an Australian comedy trio, thrilled to be working with the Caravan team and using comedy to raise funds for for this important cause.
