About Our Auction
Cast A Light on Mental Health (CALM Fishing) is a Saskatchewan-based charity fishing event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health, addiction recovery, and suicide prevention. Inspired by the life and memory of Stuart Ackerman, the annual event brings together anglers, families, and communities to enjoy a day of fishing while supporting meaningful mental health initiatives.
Through registrations, donations, sponsorships, auctions, and community support, CALM Fishing raises funds for organizations that provide mental health and addiction services across Saskatchewan.
The funds this year are going to Possibilities Recovery Center- Youth Program.

To provide opportunities for recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, and to promote positive change in not only the life of the person living with substance use, but their families as well.
Our Vision
Possibilities Recovery Center will provide its clients with an unparalleled holistic addictions program experience as the most trusted outpatient recovery Center in Saskatchewan.
Possibilities offers an Intensive 16-week mental wellness program for youth, and a drop in mental wellness education program called Possibilities Youth Connection. Both programs are available 100% free of charge for youth thanks to people and organizations like yourselves!
