Summer Auction to Benefit the CAE
This auction is to benefit the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Donations include a variety of items made by our talented staff, food businesses & farms, and the greater Hardwick Community. CAE is a holistic food systems hub that works to create an equitable, vibrant, independent, and just food system in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Led by the belief that a healthy and robust food system touches every aspect of community life, much of the CAE’s work is informed by community need. Through a wide range of programming; infrastructure & financial support, education, and technical expertise, the CAE is working to ensure that rural, agricultural-based Vermont communities are positioned for success and long-term viability.
We invite you to join us for an in-person event at Atkins Field in Hardwick, VT. On Friday, Aug. 13 from 3-6 pm we will be celebrating Open Farm Week and our agricultural community. Please visit our website for more information.

About Center for an Agricultural Economy
The Center for an Agricultural Economy envisions a future with thriving landscapes, healthy local food, and vital, equitable communities. We believe a place-based agricultural economy and intentional community development is the path to this future.
Founded in 2004, the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Through programs that support food access, farm viability, and working landscapes, CAE is building a healthy, regenerative food system by promoting local foods and the people who produce them. We believe in a whole systems approach that meets the needs and aspirations of the community and ensures economic and ecological stability and abundance.
