Brisbane Bullets Pink Hoops

The auction is now live for the Brisbane Bullets’ special edition shooting shirts, which will be worn on court during our Pink Hoops game against South East Melbourne Phoenix on Thursday 15 October.

All funds raised will be donated to TOUGH4T, a charity established to continue the legacy of Redlands-born basketballer Tiana Mangakahia, whose courage and resilience throughout her breast cancer journey inspired thousands both on and off the basketball court.

Proceeds from the auction will support young women under 40 facing breast cancer, helping individuals and families feel seen, heard and supported throughout their journey.

Tiana began her basketball journey with the Australian Institute of Sport and Townsville Fire before moving to the United States in 2017 to play college basketball at Syracuse University.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, Tiana returned to the court and earned selection in the bronze medal-winning Australian Opals squad at the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup. She later played for the Sydney Flames before transitioning into coaching, returning to playing in 2025 with the Southern Districts Spartans.

The special edition pink shooting shirts will be worn by the Bullets players during the Pink Hoops game, before being auctioned to fans.
