About Our Auction

Welcome to the 2014 BLF online auction, held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Auction Gala on Nov. 14.

Here's how it works:

1) Bid. Bid. Bid. Bidding will remain open until Nov. 14 at 5:00 p.m.
2) For items with a 'Buy it Now' option, bidders can win the item online by meeting that price.
3) All other items will remain open for bidding in person at the Nov. 14 Auction Gala. If the online bid wins the item, the winner will be notified by email.
4) All bids are final and cannot be retracted.
5) Please email us with any questions.

Berkeley Law Foundation

The Berkeley Law Foundation (BLF) is an income-sharing organization comprised of Boalt students and alumni who are dedicated to providing legal services to historically under-served communities. Started in 1976 by Boalt students, BLF was the first organization of its kind in the nation.

The BLF’s primary goals are providing scholarships for entering students of color, funding public interest law through summer fellowships for current Boalt students, and awarding one-year fellowships for law graduates and new attorneys. Our grants enable the recipients to work on innovative and critical projects that provide desperately needed legal services to communities all around the nation.

Besides providing crucial funding for legal services, BLF works to ensure diversity in legal education and the profession. To this end, BLF created the Phoenix Fellowships, providing incoming students of color with critical scholarships and ensuring that Berkeley Law is able to attract and matriculate such students during a time of dramatic fee increases and threats to diversity.

All auction proceeds go directly to the Phoenix Fellowship program.
