The Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge Fundraiser

Come join with us in celebrating the 13th year of the Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge! 

The Aloha spirit, stoke, and the desire to raise money for worthy causes has always been the driving belief behind this one-of-a-kind snowboard event.

Once again, this year we are including the online auction as another way to help raise funds, with this years' proceeds benefitting Michele Schnake who's been an integral part of our BWC Fam who you've seen running registration since the beginning, and who's helped several generations of our local athletes through organizing the USASA series at Mt. Bachelor. Michele was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in December after beating breast cancer 2 years ago.

This online auction will conclude on the day of the event on April 5th at 7:45pm PST with most prizes available to pick up at the Volcanic Theater Pub after party if present.

Michele was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in December 2024 after beating breast cancer 2 years ago.  If you know Michele she has one of the biggest hearts and would do anything for anyone.  Funds will go towards her medical bills and expenses during this tough time.  Michele wants to thank everyone for the support but a special shoutout to the Big Wave Challenge team and Gerry Lopez for making this possible, xoxo
