Virtual Silent Auction

Thank you for joining our first online silent auction fundraiser in support of Beck-Fahrner syndrome research. New to online silent auctions? Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions.

CREATING AN ACCOUNT - at the top you will want to “Create an Account” (if you do not have one already). The account setup process is quick and very little information is required – only name, email and password. No payment information is necessary during account set up. Our auction is set to display your “Bidder Display Name” so if you want to remain anonymous you can do so through your chosen display name. From there, you can start viewing and bidding on items once the auction begins, which will be June 17, 2022 at 8:00am CST.

DONATION FEATURE - with the purple button located in top right corner, an individual can elect to make a monetary donation to the Beck-Fahrner Syndrome Foundation without having to purchase/bid on items.

BIDDING - both exact bids and proxy bids are enabled. Exact bidding means that you manually enter exactly the amount you wish to bid, and the current bid will immediately move to this amount. Proxy bidding means that the auction site can bid for you, up to whatever maximum amount you’d like to set. As others bid on the same item, our auction site will automatically bid on your behalf, up to your maximum amount. Your maximum bid will remain confidential unless you are outbid.

AUCTION WINNERS - the auction is scheduled to end on June 26, 2022 at 7:00 PM CST. At that time, winning bidder notifications will be sent to the highest online bidders. Winner will then be directed to the payment processor to submit payment.

PAYMENT OPTIONS - our auction site accepts credit card or Paypal to complete transactions. No checks or cash will be accepted as payment is due at the time of a winning notification e-mail and invoice being received. Any auction items left unclaimed after 24 hours of the auction end will then be offered to the next highest bidder.

If you are in need of further assistance, please e-mail info@beckfahrner.org.
