BCS Salvation Army Doing The Most Good Event

This is the largest fundraising opportunity offered by the BCS Salvation Army during the year. Proceeds from this auction will be used for programs and services provided by the BCS Salvation Army in Brazos County and outlying areas. These include sheltering and feeding the homeless, rebuilding communities after natural disasters, comforting the sick and elderly, supporting young people through after-school programs, and responding to needs in the community with practical help. Caring, local community members and businesses have donated the large variety of items listed. We hope you will support this worthy cause by bidding on these amazing items!

Known most commonly for the Red Kettle Campaign and Angel Tree Program during the Christmas season, the Salvation Army also provides year–round services to our local community. These include feeding the hungry, providing needed clothing, rent assistance, utility payment assistance, hygiene kits, fans, heaters, school supplies and help with ID/birth certificate replacement, bus passes, etc. as well as free summer camps for youths. The Salvation Army is a consistent and compassionate presence in Brazos County and has a positive impact on those who are in need.
