Blueridge & Seymour Heights Street Sign Auction

This is a unique opportunity to own a little piece of Blueridge & Seymour Heights and support a good cause! Street signs throughout the neighbourhood have all been replaced, and the District has given us the old signs. We want to give everyone a chance to own a little piece of history, and so we have decided to auction them off!

You can bid on your own street's sign, your favourite Blueridge street, the street that you grew up on, or maybe you just like the name of a street... Bid on any sign you'd like, and bid often!!

The money raised will be used to support the Eric Andersen Blueridge Community Association Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a deserving grade 12 student who lives in Blueridge/Seymour Heights. Normally the Community Association raises the money for this by hosting Diner en Bleu. But due to Covid restrictions, this event was cancelled in 2020, and likely also cancelled for 2021.

The purposes of the Blueridge Community Association are as follows:

a/ to advocate for its members as residents of the neighborhood in those parts of the District of North Vancouver known as Blueridge and Seymour Heights.

b/ to promote and organize activity to protect and preserve the quality of life for residents of Blueridge and Seymour Heights and the investments made by them.

c/ to inform residents of Blueridge and Seymour Heights of government decisions and actions that have a direct effect on them

d/ to encourage participation in activities affecting the community and promote events which enhance quality of life, social integration and neighbourliness.

e/ to promote events that stimulate community spirit and cooperation
