About Our Auction
The most vital component to this event is the buyer. The event needs pro-puppy people willing to bid on these one-of-a-kind Aggie dog furniture pieces. All proceeds received through bidding will go to helping dogs find good homes. If you are interested in learning more, please email the committee at barkandbuild@gmail.com.
The Auction kicks off on October 20, 2017 at Post Oak Mall and Concludes on November 3, 2017 at First Friday in Downtown Bryan.
About Brazos Bark and Build
Begun in 2011 by the the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA Brazos) Emerging Professionals Committee, Brazos Bark & Build is a dog house or dog furniture design competition open to the whole community. This event seeks to spread awareness and raise money for Aggieland Humane Society as well as show off local design talent.
In honor of ‘adopt a dog’ month, it is held in October at Wiener Fest in Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. If you are interested, there are many opportunities for everyone to get involved, be that as a participant, sponsor, volunteer, or bidder. If you (or your canine friend) has an interest in design or dogs, please support this local effort
to help our community’s homeless pets.
