34th Annual Peter Saracino Alzheimer Golf Auction

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation will be hosting its 34th Annual Peter Saracino Alzheimer Golf Classic at Rockway Vineyards.  It’s more than just a day of golf; it’s a swing for change!   

Our event is dedicated to the memory of our late Chief Executive Officer, and to date has raised more than ONE MILLION DOLLARS to support local Alzheimer’s programs and services.

Support our Online Auction and help us reach our Fundraising Goal.  Every dollar raised stays local—funding essential programs, respite care, and education programs that empower families to live well with their diagnosis. 

Together, we can build a community where no one faces Alzheimer’s alone—and you can be a driving force behind that vision! 

In Niagara, we have one of the highest percentages of seniors per capita, yet we lack available specialized geriatric resources compared to other communities. Currently, there are over 12,097 people in Niagara alone who are experiencing a progressive dementia, the most common of which is Alzheimer’s disease.
 
The Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region offers specialized counselling services to mitigate risk, a vast array of wellness and social programs, and opportunities to educate people living with dementia, their families, caregivers, and the public at large.

From 2024-2025, we:
Accepted over 2,000 new referrals across the Niagara Region
Served 3,058 unique individuals across all departments
Conducted 11,496 visits across the whole organization
Had a total attendance of 10,106 at all programs
Provided 47,624 hours of Respite Care
