About Our Auction

McGuffin Fine Art is auctioning an original 11x14 oil on linen painting of a classical roman horse head sculpture. 100% of the proceed from the sale of this painting will go to Saddlebred Rescue,INC (SBR) who received a call yesterday (July 3) from the Amish man who runs the ice cream and horse sale in PA. He ask if SBR would come to the sale and hopefully be able to save some of the older horses that show up at his sale. We want to go but need funds to purchase and rehab these horses for the first 30 days (at least the vaccines, worming, teeth and shoeing). SBR cannot buy every horse at the sale but will try to save as many as resources allow so they do not end up with a one way ticket to a slaughter house in Mexico or Canada. Please help so SBR can go to the sale this Thursday ( July 5).

Thank you!

About A.S. McGuffin for Saddlebred Rescue Inc

Fine artist raising funds for AMERICAN HORSE ADOPTION operated by Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. (SBR) to purchase horses to keep them from going to slaughter.
SBR is a truly unique rescue that incorporates the thinking and practices of a professional show stable with the realities of the plight of unwanted horses today. SBR buys all horses in our program mostly from auctions and sales where they were slaughter bound. We have our own professional trainer who works with each horse to evaluate and design a schooling program to help the horse be as adoptable as possible. All horses in our program are evaluated by two professional horse trainers before they are placed. We operate exclusively from New Jersey. Our only rehab location is in New Jersey just off of I 80 near the Delaware Water Gap. The adoption program is nationwide.
