In loving memory of Alicia T. Garcia, the Jimenez and Garcia families honor her legacy through the Alicia Garcia Memorial Scholarship. Alicia was a beloved mami, grandma, and wife. Her life was shaped by her love of community.  She taught us about the power of comunidad and what it means to have the heart of a servant.

This campaign is proudly part of Cambio para Cambio campaign led by the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Development Fund, which leverages the generational power of education to serve as a trajectory for individual students, for families, and our entire comunidad.

Every dollar raised through this auction helps create opportunities for students to access and complete higher education.

In keeping with years past, this year's scholarships will be awarded to students who are pursuing careers in physical therapy or occupational therapy. 

In response to the Kansas legislature's recent decision to disallow undocumented students from accessing in-state tuition, this year's scholarship will benefit undocumented students also.
