Commemoration of the Battle of the Alamo Auction

The annual 185th Commemoration honoring the anniversary of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo will take place from Tuesday, February 23, 2021 through Saturday, March 6, 2021. Each year during Commemoration, the Alamo honors the 13-day siege leading up to the Battle of the Alamo with corresponding days of special events.

Introducing our first ever online silent auction - the newest way to support the Remember the Alamo Foundation! Bidding opens at 9:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, February 23 and closes at 9:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, March 8. This auction features unique Alamo and San Antonio experiences. All funds raised from our Commemoration of the Battle of the Alamo silent auction will benefit the Remember the Alamo Foundation. Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo stands as a Shrine to Texas Liberty. Remember the Alamo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, engages all who love liberty to support and preserve the Alamo and tell the story of Texas independence as part of its 300-year history to more than 1.6 million visitors every year. The Alamo is proud to offer daily activities such as entrance to the historic Alamo Church, school visits, a Living History encampment and demonstrations, and special exhibits, all free of charge thanks to the generosity of our donors.

Remember the Alamo Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to preserve the Alamo, the Shrine of Texas Liberty, and bring its own unique story to life – to inspire visitors and honor all those who lived, fought, and died here.
