Welcome to the AJ & Mom's Rebuild Project Auction!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our auction and support our family.
This summer was different because I couldn't go out and do the things AJ and I normally enjoy together. After a serious car accident, I suffered additional damage to my leg and found out my femur never fully healed from my 2020 accident. I now need major reconstructive surgery on September 10th, followed by a long recovery.
Instead of letting this summer pass us by, our 12-year-old son, AJ, came up with an idea. Since he was starting 7th grade soon, he wanted us to have something we could do together before school started. He suggested creating a Facebook page and holding an online auction to help our family while giving us a project we could work on side by side.
Together we've collected donations, photographed items, written listings, and built this auction. It has given us hope, purpose, and precious time together during a very difficult season.
Every item in this auction has either been generously donated by members of our community or comes from our family business, Second Story Finds.

AJ & Mom's Rebuild Project is a family fundraiser created by my 12-year-old son, AJ. After my accident, this summer looked very different because I couldn't get out and do the things we normally enjoy together. Before AJ started 7th grade, he came up with the idea to start a Facebook page and hold an online auction so we could work on something together while raising money to help our family.
Donations and auction proceeds help with household bills, groceries, transportation to medical appointments, AJ's school clothes and supplies, and my reconstructive surgery and recovery. Every bid and every share helps us rebuild one step at a time.
