Notable Landscapes and Figures of the Adirondacks: Art Exhibit by Incarcerated Artists

The Adirondack Center for Writing has presented a creative writing program at FCI Ray Brook since 2002, which is the longest-running arts program in the country's federal correctional system. ACW worked closely with the FCI Ray Brook staff to curate an exhibit of artwork as a way to use art as a means of coping with the fears and stresses of the pandemic. The artists themselves selected the theme and this exhibit is the final product of this collaboration.

The exhibit is available for viewing until August 30, 2021at John Brown Farm Historic State Park in Lake Placid, New York.

Proceeds from sales will go to the Adirondack Center for Writing, which was selected by the artists in recognition of all their years of dedicated work for arts in corrections.
