A portrait sitting valued at $1,000 is being donated as an auction item from Vann Fine Art Portraits. All money raised from the final bid will go directly towards the total donation to Read and Feed.

Athens Drive Magnet High School prides itself on being a community school. We have several health-based programs offered, such as our Health Science Academy and Future Health Professionals (HOSA), and many students are looking for ways to give back to our community.

To do so, we are currently working on planning our annual Charity Gala. The Sweetheart Charity Gala has a goal of raising $8,000 for Read and Feed in Cary, NC. This local, non-profit organization works with underprivileged elementary school students to help teach them to read all while providing meals for them and their families. Athens Drive’s students show a great desire to help others; because of the strong Health Science Academy and focus on medicine, the community at the Drive is more aware of global concerns and health.
