A Cymbal in Honor of Kevin Feeney

Dear friends, family, and the music community,

I am NickyMoon, American cymbal maker. I am teaming up with my colleagues Paul Francis and Timothy Roberts and together we are going to craft a one-of-a-kind custom cymbal and auction it off here to benefit Cheri Feeney. I will start the cymbal here in Pennsylvania, then ship it to Paul in Boston, MA where he will carry on the work. Paul will then send it to Tim in North Carolina to finish it up. Tim will then send the cymbal to the winner of this auction. 

As most of you all know by now, Cheri lost her husband and soulmate Kevin on August 17th, 2026. Kevin fought a brave 10-month battle with colorectal cancer, leaving us just a month after his 60th birthday.

Kevin was a man of rhythm and passion. As the founder of Creative Percussion and the powerhouse drummer for Mugsy, he poured his soul into music. When illness forced him to step away from his life's work, his devoted wife, Cheri, left her job in January 2026 to become his full-time caregiver. Together, they faced this mountain with absolute grace and love.

While their bond was unbreakable, the financial toll of this battle has been an extremely tough road to travel. They exhausted every penny on treatments, hospital visits, and day-to-day life expenses. Because Kevin had no life insurance, Cheri is now navigating profound grief while carrying an overwhelming burden of medical debt and mounting daily living expenses.

We cannot take away Cheri’s pain, but as Kevin’s brothers—Steve, Sean, Chuck, and Mark—we can help lift the financial weight from her shoulders. We are launching this fundraiser to give Cheri immediate relief and a foundation of hope. We want to grant her the breathing room to grieve, heal, and rebuild her life without the constant fear of financial distress.

Every dollar raised goes directly to Cheri to help her:
