2026 ACC Silent Auction Fundraiser

The Avondale Children's Center (ACC) Silent Auction is our biggest and most important fundraising event of the year and is essential to the continued care and support of our school and families in our community.

All proceeds from the silent auction go toward the Max Shanks Scholarship, named in memory of Avondale graduate Max Shanks who passed away in July 2022.  Max was very involved in and passionate about extracurricular activities like baseball and bike riding, so in addition to providing quality childcare, tuition assistance, and critical school resources, our goal is to incorporate more key life-building skills and activities for all our students.

Avondale Children's Center - Where Little Minds Bloom!

Located on the campus of Avondale Presbyterian Church at 2821 Park Road, the Avondale Children's Center (ACC) has offered quality care and education for young children and their families since 1987. The children's center is a 5-star rated center, located in the heart of the historic Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte.​​The ACC opened in January 1987 as a response to congregational concern that quality childcare was a critical need in our community. 

The live auction event will take place on Friday, October 9 during the ACC Fall Festival at Avondale. Items will be set up in Sabbath House room next to the book fair.
