YWKW envisions "an equitable world where women, families, youth, and children thrive in inclusive communities"

SASCWR (Sexual Assault Support Centre Waterloo Region) (www.sascwr.org) Since 1989 the SASCWR has been transforming lives in our community. SASCWR offers free, wrap-around services and support to people and their families who have experienced sexual violence. They envision "a world without sexual violence and oppression"

CJI (Community Justice Initiatives) (www.cjiwr.com) is a non-profit organization known world-wide for starting the first modern Restorative Justice program. About Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo

We are an enthusiastic group of women from Waterloo Region working together to empower women & girls locally and globally.

Our Club has been thriving since 1978 (over 40 years!). Since our Club is a member of Zonta International, we also support global education and service projects through the Zonta Foundation for Women. Zonta International, founded in 1919 in Buffalo New York, is comprised of more than 1100 Clubs in 62 countries and has more than 28,000 members (women & men). Zonta’s story is one of empowerment and progressive change.

We are proud to support initiatives that have expanded health, educational, and economic opportunities for women and girls. Zonta envisions a world where women’s rights are recognized as human rights; where every woman can reach her full potential; and no woman lives in fear of violence.
