About Our Auction
Humane Society Yukon has been a valued and important asset to the community for over 30 years in uniting unwanted and abandoned pets with second chances and new loving homes. The shelter operates 7 days a week administering vet care, providing quality food and nutrition, behavioral training, vaccines, microchipping and loving care to every animal that comes through our doors. We are a non-profit, donor supported organization who depend on our generous community to support our work in the health and welfare of the animals in our care. These past 15 months have been really tough on everyone with the pandemic restrictions, but as the little engine that could, we’ve been fortunate to stay open and continue to adopt companions to the community. We’re really excited about this auction and have something for everyone. All of the proceeds of this auction go directly to taking care of the animals in our shelter.
AUCTION RULES - PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING
Bidding starts on Monday July 12 at 8am and ends Sunday July 25 at 5pm by the auction computer stamp.
Final bids that are received within 3 minutes of the auction closing will be considered valid.
Bid increments of less than $2.00 will not be accepted
Some items will have reserve bids on them due to their value and donor's instructions. If the item is not claimed by Wednesday, August 4th, the item will be returned to the donor.
In case of a dispute over the last bid, a decision may take up to 24 hours to resolve.
Payment will be required before end of the auction closing as per instructions on the site

Our mission at Humane Society Yukon is to help animals in need. To give them a safe warm place to stay while we try to find the best forever home for them.
We have amazing dedicated staff who provide love and care to our animals. The Society focuses on animal welfare education initiatives throughout the territory, as well as the operation of the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter in Whitehorse.
