About Our Auction
For over twenty two years the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts has received artwork either by purchase or by donation as a means of support to maintain and preserve the Maynard Dixon home and studio which is on the National Register of Historic Places and as such a non profit 501(c)3 non profit foundation was formed. You can choose to buy the artwork made available here or please make a donation if possible.
About Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts
Mission Statement
The Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization furthering Maynard Dixon's legacy by preserving his Utah property and educating the public about his contributions to American art through educational tours of his home, internships for working artists, workshops and artist retreats in addition to workshops and day camps for people with special needs.
The Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts is working to expand its mission to achieve the following long-term goal:
Secure a Legacy Endowment for the Preservation of the Dixon Home, Studio and Memorial site.
