Some of the stallions already have had active bids and listings cannot be revised for transparency sake once bids have been placed on a listing. This is a WhoaZone Equine hosted stallion auction to benefit the blossoming Yankee Prospect Stakes program!

The YPS is a special committee, of the YRHA. Their goal is to create a true partnership between stallion owners, breeders, and competitors. We offer an annual stallion auction, futurity, and derby. We also provide many incentives for our nominated stallion owners and to our enrolled horses!

What YPS offers Enrolled Horses:

Closed Annual Futurity and Derby open to only YPS enrolled prospects

100% of enrollment monies is held and added to the purse for each prospect’s futurity year

75% of the monies raised, through our YPS Stallion Auction, goes straight to that year’s Futurity and Derby purse

Nominated Stallion Benefits

1. All resulting get sired by nominated stallions are eligible for enrollment at any age.

2. Stallion Incentive Checks for the owners of the stallions that produce winners in our annual futurity and derby (Must be nominated to receive payment)

3. Full page Reiner advertisement will include the names of the stallions that produce YPS champions.

4. Sponsored facebook advertisement for each nominated stallion. Advertisement to be provided by the stallion owner.

5. If a stallion is nominated prior to our futurity, a banner will be created and hung for all nominated stallions. The design must be provided by the stallion owner or agent but will be paid for by the YPS.

6. Advertisement on the YPS website

Foals produced as results of a YPS Stallion Auction Breeding are automatically enrolled into the YPS program which includes the NO ENTRY FEE YPS Futurity and Derby which paid out $38,000 in 2017! Show up, show your horse, and have a shot at a great paycheck with ZERO additional cost!

Payment for winning bids MUST be made within 10 business days of auction end.

Payment can be made via Cashiers Check or Money Order by mail.

In the event of payment is not recieved by Payment deadline the breeding will be available to the second highest bidder. The bidder that failed to make payment will be banned from bidding in future auctions. By bidding you understand that you are responsible for ALL additional fees involved with breeding to the stallion you have chosen. This includes any fees outside of what is outlined on this auction page. All fees must be paid PRIOR to shipment of semen or stallion owner can refuse to fulfill your contract
