About the Woodlin Elementary School PTA
The Woodlin Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association is a strong and active organization of parents, guardians, family members, teachers and staff working together on behalf of our children. The PTA sponsors community-building events and provides our students with substantial academic enrichment in the arts and sciences. We encourage all parents to become members and to bring their ideas and professional expertise to the PTA.
Woodlin Elementary School serves the communities of Woodside, North Woodside, Woodside Park, Woodside Forest, Montgomery Hills, Forest Glen, and downtown Silver Spring. Our school is attended by 600 local children with diverse cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Our ability to provide additional academic programs and support to our students has been paramount to the success of the school and its surrounding communities and greatly depends on the generosity of our families, friends and the local business community.
