About Wings Over the Rockies Nature Festival Society
Over the past 28 years, the Wings over the Rockies Nature Festival expanded from a birding event to a true nature festival in the Upper Columbia Valley, becoming one of the premier Nature festivals in Western Canada. This was possible with the efforts from our volunteers, all enthusiastic naturalists and adventurers, and with the support of local businesses and government. A non-profit society, the Wings mission continues to focus on improving awareness, understanding, conservation and stewardship of the natural world through diverse educational and engaging events. In turn, we provide ongoing support for local conservation initiatives and projects through the the Ross MacDonald Memorial Fund.
