About Columbia Basin Environmental Education Network
CBEEN is a registered charity and is the the regional network for environmental education in the Columbia Basin. Our mission is to encourage environmental stewardship and sustainability in the Canadian Columbia Basin by supporting educators.
One of the key programs CBEEN delivers is Wild Voices for Kids. Wild Voices for Kids connects classrooms to communities! The Program aims to inspire kids curiosity and connection to nature.
Wild Voices is a unique program in the Basin as it enables local specialists to develop programs connected to the local environment and tailored to their area of expertise and passion. Through our online database, teachers from school districts across the Columbia Basin can choose from numerous educational experiences based on their grade level, subject, and learning goals.
Each year, thousands of students across the Columbia Basin hear a Wild Voice.
