Thank you for participating in the seventeenth annual Wild About Chocolate Virtual Gala. Due to COVID concerns, our event has been restricted to a solely virtual auction. Now, more than ever, we need your help. Your support enables AWC to care for Alabama's injured and orphaned native birds in order to permit their return to the wild, and to provide vital conservation education to people of all ages to heighten awareness and appreciation of Alabama's native wildlife resources.

About Alabama Wildlife Center

The Alabama Wildlife Center is Alabama’s oldest and largest wildlife rehabilitation and education center, rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing back into the wild almost 2,000 avian patients annually, from more than 100 different species. Our dedicated caregivers ensure that AWC delivers outstanding care, and AWC maintains a release rate well above the national average. The Alabama Wildlife Center also presents hundreds of critical conservation and wildlife education programs each year, reaching hundreds of thousands of Alabamians in schools, civic, community and business groups throughout the state. These programs feature unique encounters with AWC’s raptor “education ambassadors” including Shelby, the Bald Eagle, and numerous hawks, falcons, and owls.

The Alabama Wildlife Center is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and depends upon generous supporters to accomplish its vital mission. We invite you to join us as a vital part of the AWC community. Become a member, support AWC environmental education events, and visit our headquarters to meet our education raptors and learn more about our unique rehabilitation methods. As an AWC member, you will play a key role in helping to preserve our natural heritage and making Alabama a better place for our wildlife and our people. Now more than ever – you can be the difference.
