Gala 2021

Our Wisconsin Women in Government Annual Gala raises scholarship funds to support women who want to pursue careers in public service. We provide funding for the following:

-WWIG Undergraduate Scholarship Program
-Scholarship contribution for Badger Girls State
- 20 – 25 women attending the Annual Leadership Seminar in partnership with the LaFollette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin – Madison
-Funding for Bonnie Reese Legislative Internship

WWIG is run by an all-volunteer board.

Founded in 1987, Wisconsin Women in Government is a bi-partisan volunteer organization that recognizes and supports women who choose to pursue a career in government by providing scholarships as well as educational, mentoring and networking opportunities.

Supporting women throughout the state prepares them for joining the professional workforce and building their careers. Whether it’s sponsoring an undergraduate or post-graduate at a Wisconsin institution of higher education, or sponsoring the WWIG Graduate Seminar, we are strengthening Wisconsin’s workforce.
