WNC & WJFC Silent Auction 2018

Funds raised from this auction will be split between the netball club and junior footy club. WNC is raising funds for the installation of outdoor lighting at the Warrandyte netball courts. WJFC is raising funds to invest in the development of coaches and players.

The home of the Warrandyte Netball Club and Warrandyte Junior Football Club is at Taroona Avenue, Warrandyte where training and playing facilities are available. A committed team of coaches in both clubs encourage everyone to give their best and play as a team. Countless volunteers make it possible to run the very successful clubs for children in the area. Many families in the community have children playing in both the netball and football club, and the idea for a joint fundraiser was born!

Warrandyte Netball Club has been established for over 35 years. This year there are 19 teams playing from under 9s to Opens, and a Netsetgo program to learn netball skills for those aged between 5-7 years old. The teams play on Saturdays in the Doncaster & District Netball Association at Templestowe. Teams train once a week at the courts in Warrandyte.

Warrandyte Junior Football Club has been running for over 60 years and in 2018 has 13 junior teams including 4 girls teams. Teams play home and away matches in the YJFL league on Sundays and train at the club once a week.
