WKHS Volley For The Cure

The Worthington Kilbourne Volleyball Team and School community is honored to to be able to be a part the 2026 Volley for the Cure.  Volley for the Cure is a nationwide breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative that partners with teams like ours!  VFTC has been a long standing tradition that uses the sport of volleyball as a platform to honor those affected by breast cancer, raise critical funds for research and patient support, and educate participants about early detection and breast health.

Volley for the Cure is a wonderful way to give back to something bigger than the game!  The Wolves Volleyball program  will host a “pink out” game recognizing survivors, remembering those lost, and inspiring action.  

Through donations, t-shirts sales, 50/50 raffle, bake sale, and a Silent Auction, we hope to raise critical funds that can be invested in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer FOREVER!  100% of funds raised with be donated to both the Susan G. Komen Foundation and The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research on behalf of the Worthington School District.

This is a long standing tradition and a wonderful way to give back to something bigger than the game.  Volley for the Cure is a unique program designed to promote positive awareness, and the importance of early detection of breast cancer for high school girls. With the support of coaches, school administration, local businesses and the community, these young women are making a difference by raising critical funds for the mission of Susan G. Komen, all while helping Komen get one step closer to ending breast cancer FOREVER!
