About Our Auction
The Brisbane Heat are providing fans an opportunity to own a slice of club history with the auction of our inaugural Women’s Big Bash League Indigenous jerseys.
Jerseys are signed by each member of the Heat’s WBBL|07 squad, plus a shirt signed by the entire team is also available. The jerseys will not be available for retail purchase this summer, further enhancing the rare nature of these items.
All money raised will be donated to the Queensland Cricket Foundation to invest in initiatives that create positive differences in Queensland communities. The Foundation supports four key pillars that will allow cricket to be more accessible to participants who might otherwise not have the opportunity.
These pillars are:
1. Indigenous Health and Well-Being
2. Female, Multi-Cultural, and All-Inclusive Programs and Initiatives
3. Infrastructure and Facilities
4. Supporting Experiences for Disadvantaged Youth
All jersey's were designed by Brisbane Indigenous artist Delores McDonald ‘Aunty Delly’ with input and support from our WBBL batter Mikayla Hinkley.
