The Village Table - 2020 Silent Auction

Funds raised by this silent auction - all items donated - will support our African projects supporting vulnerable widows and orphans. Many of the items are one of a kind, some brought to Canada directly from Africa and others only available through this auction.

Established in 2001, Project HOPE seeks, through African partnerships, to develop effective long-term solutions that strengthen a community’s ability to care for their widows and orphans. We value sustainability and accountability, and endeavour to care for the whole person.
Project HOPE has projects in Burkina Faso, Liberia, Tanzania and Zambia. Widows are provided business training to establish their own micro-enterprises and become self-sustaining. Orphans have their school fees paid so they can attend class. Donations assist with providing these pathways to a hope-filled future.
Additionally, funds raised support our agricultural projects where widows and orphans participate in sustainable farming and harvest projects. By learning to grow their own food, vulnerable people can become self-sustaining and communities become stronger.
