2026 VYOA Online Auction

Recognizing the barriers that many families face, the VYOA provides a robust financial aid program: this season we will award need-based scholarships and lesson subsidies to more than 15% of our participants. Our goal is to raise $12,000 with this auction to support these initiatives, to ensure that all students have access to our orchestras, training ensembles, lesson program, and summer camp, regardless of their financial situation.

**Come see many of our auction items in person at Elley-Long Music Center on Sunday, April 12 at 4:30 before (and after) the VYS & VYP Concert. 

For more than 60 years, VYOA has been a trusted partner to Vermont families and school music programs, extending opportunities to study music beyond the school day and throughout the community. Alumni of our programs count VYOA as instrumental in their development, while current students trust that VYOA activities will be rewarding, exciting, and fun.

In addition to two symphony orchestras, one string orchestra, jazz program, and training programs for middle school musicians, the VYOA provides affordable instrumental instruction through its Lesson Program and afterschool program, Music Inspires. Our Rug Concert series and Music Together classes provide an opportunity for families with very young children to foster their love of music together. 

All programs are based at the Elley-Long Music Center, the former Cavalry Riding or Drill Hall located at Fort Ethan Allen which was renovated by the VYOA between 1999 and 2001. This beautiful building is the home of the VYOA and the primary rehearsal and concert venue for many  performing arts organizations.
