Spring Gala 2019

Proceeds from this silent auction will provide critical support for the Vincent Price Art Museum's 12 exhibitions and 40 programs a year, including the Smithsonian Undergraduate Internship Program. The silent auction offers museum supporters, friends, and the broader community the opportunity to support this unique museum and collect fine art by emerging and established artists who have exhibited at the Vincent Price Art Museum. The mission of the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College is to serve as a unique educational resource for the diverse audiences of the college and the community through the exhibition, interpretation, collection, and preservation of works in all media of the visual arts. VPAM provides an environment to encounter a range of aesthetic expressions that illuminate the depth and diversity of artwork produced by people of the world, both contemporary and past. By presenting thoughtful, innovative and culturally diverse exhibitions and by organizing cross-disciplinary programs on issues of historical, social, and cultural relevance, VPAM seeks to promote knowledge, inspire creative thinking, and deepen an understanding of and appreciation for the visual arts.

The Vincent Price Art Museum Foundation's Spring Gala 2019 will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 6:00 PM PST at the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College, 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park, CA 91754. The silent auction will be available online for three consecutive weeks leading up to the event, from 12:00 PM PST on Monday, April 8 through 12:00 PM PST on Friday, April 26th. The silent auction will then transition to an onsite event, presented as part of the Spring Gala on Saturday, April 27th.
