About Our Auction
Volunteer Ottawa’s (VO) 9th Annual VOscars award ceremony is coming up on April 17th, 2019.
This event is the highlight of the year for the city’s volunteers and not-for-profits. The event celebrates Ottawa’s vibrant volunteer community and gives special recognition to those individuals, organizations and businesses that have made a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
All donations and money raised from the silent auction will help support VO's programs and services in and around Ottawa.
About Volunteer Ottawa
Volunteer Ottawa (VO) strengthens the not-for-profit sector through a focus on building expertise, fostering collaboration and promoting volunteerism. For over sixty years, we have been a leader in helping people make a meaningful difference in our city.
Our workshops and training sessions, inclusive programs, networking opportunities, and database of volunteer opportunities ensure that individuals and non-profit organizations have the skills, knowledge and resources they need to make a difference in the lives of the people they serve. We support over 300 local non-profit organizations and place over 9000 volunteers per year, who passionately contribute to the common good of our city.
Live Event Information
The auction will end at our live event.
The VOscars will be held on April 17, 2019 at Ottawa City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West) from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
You are NOT required to attend the live event to bid. If you are the top bidder when the online auction closes, you can continue your bidding through proxy - this will allow us to bid up to a certain amount on your behalf.
