About Our Auction

Vancouver Heritage Foundation is excited to share our first online auction with you! This year would have seen our 7th annual fall fundraiser, City Drinks, which hosted over 150 people last year to raise essential funds to support our educational programs, projects and grants. As we are unable to get together in person this year, we wanted to take part of our annual event virtual by providing a fun and unique online auction.

The auction has a wonderful selection of art, experiences, antiques and special items generously donated by local businesses, organizations and heritage supporters. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.

We invite you to browse the items and make your bids! Your support is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about any items or the auction process please let us know.

If you would like to make a donation to Vancouver Heritage Foundation, please email mail@vancouverheritagefoundation.org or visit www.vancouverheritagefoundation.org/get-involved/donate-to-vhf/donate-to-vhf/

About Vancouver Heritage Foundation

Vancouver Heritage Foundation (VHF) promotes the appreciation and conservation of our city’s historic places for current and future generations. VHF does this by creating opportunities and resources to learn about Vancouver’s history and heritage places, and providing practical support for the successful conservation of historic buildings and sites.

VHF was created as a charitable organization in 1992. In 2017, VHF celebrated 25 years of operations. Each year, VHF presents over 50 events, continues to grow online innovation, creates resources and supports multiple conservation projects through grants.

In the past six months, VHF has had to postpone or cancel many planned events. We usually present over 50 in-person events each year, offering opportunities to learn about local history and heritage places and how to care for them. Like many organizations, we have had to change plans but we have worked hard to continue to offer meaningful programs and resources while coping with much reduced revenue. We have already presented several innovative virtual events and have more throughout the fall. We are emphasizing the rich information resources we have been building online such as the Heritage Site Finder interactive map, the Places That Matter Community History Resource, the Heritage Study Guide for Schools and more. Through our communications we have been encouraging positive safe exploration of local places to help everyone stay connected with their communities and neighbourhoods.
