The 2nd Annual Stay at Home Gala Auction

Our 2nd Annual Stay at Home Gala has been a success thanks to our generous donors. We are beyond grateful as these funds will go towards our programs including the Samaritan Center, Hibiscus Center, Operation 300, ARC, and Success Sailing, and operating expenses. The Sailing Center NEVER turns anyone away due to an inability to pay for programs, so your scholarship programs' support is vital to our mission's success.

However, last Sunday, several of our Hobie Waves were damaged in the storm. The funds needed for the Hobie replacements are now in addition to our original goal.

We are also launching our 100 for 100 fundraising effort. We are asking 100 members and supporters to donate $100 by April 30, 2021

US SAILING CENTER – MARTIN COUNTY (USSCMC) is recognized as one of the nation's outstanding community sailing centers, and philanthropy plays a significant role in fulfilling our mission to create affordable programs and build partnerships to ensure sailing is and will continue to be accessible to all. Donations raised at last year's Ports of Call helped underwrite summer camp scholarships, middle and high school sailing programs, and community outreach programs, enabling us to host world-class regattas.

Community sailing programs are the core of our operation and include learn-to-sail programs for sailors of all ages, youth and high school sailing racing teams, membership sailing opportunities, and special events. Each summer, the center operates weekly full-day sailing camp programs for young sailors seven years old through early teens.
