Para Driving Team USA

We want to send a team of 3 Para drivers, their horses and modified carriages to the 2018 FEI Para Equestrian Driving Championships this August 23, - September 2, 2018. It will be held in The Netherlands. Team USA has come home with a total of 14 medals since 1994. Many of these medals have been won with borrowed horses and carriages. We would like to even the playing field by having our athletes bring their own equipment and horses to the World Championships. It costs $20,000 to ship a horse and $10,000 to ship carriage and equipment per driver.

United States Driving for the Disabled, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, seeks to improve the lives of physically challenged individuals throughout the United States and Canada by providing the experience of driving horses in a safe and challenging environment.

Our mission is to provide the extraordinary benefit of therapeutic driving to as many people as possible through sharing knowledge, experience, and serving as a resource for innovations in adaptive equipment for drivers, trainers, and programs offering carriage driving.
