UN Women 2021 Gender Equality Awards

The UN Women Gender Equality Awards honor and recognize champions and advocates who have made outstanding contributions in gender equality and taken action against gender bias, discrimination and violence to create a more equitable society for all. This year's event will be held in support of UN Women's HeForShe campaign, with proceeds benefitting women and girls in need in Afghanistan by providing critical resources and programs to help them navigate the current crisis. Join us virtually at our signature annual event on Thursday, October 21.

UN Women USA Chicago is an independent non-profit, 501c3 organization that supports the mission of UN Women and social, political, and economic equality for women and girls around the world. Chapters serve as the voice for UN Women across the United States, establishing events that engage their respective communities and providing key financial support to UN Women.
