The Fort Edmonton Foundation is an Edmonton charity that raises funds to bring capital projects and other initiatives to Fort Edmonton Park. Founded in 1969 by a small group of community leaders, many of whom were Rotarians, it was formed to help preserve the history of Edmonton. Donations to the Foundation have enabled Fort Edmonton Park to be built and expanded. The Park recently underwent a significant three-year renovation featuring a beautiful new front entry plaza, new Indigenous Peoples Experience, expanded 1920's-style midway, and many other enhancements.
