2021 Tina Doufekias Jr Sailing Scholarship Auction

The purpose of this auction is to fund the Tina Doufekias Junior Sailing Scholarship; a sailing scholarship designed to provide financial assistance enabling children within our community the opportunity to participate who would not otherwise be able to enroll and participate due to financial need or hardship.

This year, though unlike last year in many ways, will again have a silent, online auction. The end of the Auction will coincide with the end of the 2021 Junior Sailing Program, August 13, 2021.

• Bid types are exact bids and proxy bids.
• Item end time is extended by 3 minutes when it receives a bid during the final 3 minutes (max 30-minute extension)

Tina Doufekias was a talented and dedicated educator that inspired generations of young students to be inquisitive and to love learning and to be kind and generous,

Tina was also an inspiration to her wide circle of friends and always encouraged the women she knew to acknowledge their talents and enjoy their successes.

Tina's passion for life and beauty was reflected in the joy she brought to everything she did, including her love of sailing.

It is because of Tina's dedication to our children and her strong desire that every child be allowed to expand their horizons that her family and friends established this scholarship, so that she will continue to play a part by giving opportunities for young Junior Sailors.
