The Flower Shop Charlie Ilsley fundraiser

We will like to take this opportunity to raise money for a local boy Charlie Ilsley.
In 2015, Charlie, aged 8 was diagnosed with a brain tumour called a medulloblastoma. He endured emergency surgery to remove the tumour and then many rounds of radiation followed by 4 stem cells transplants. In August 2019 Charlie received the best news possible following his scan that he is FREE of cancer. He will complete the immunotherapy he is undergoing, which means a few more trips to Germany, then he is done. Charlies family need to raise a £50.000 to cover this.
We have approached many Caversham businesses to help fund raise.
We will also being running an open day on 1st October from 12-5 all welcome where we will be raffling a stunning bouquet of 50 long stems best pink Roses all raised will also go towards Charlie’s treatment.

To mark this occasion we have decided to hold an open day at The Flower Shop from 12pm - 5pm & welcome all to join us for a slice of cake & cup of tea to celebrate. As a local business we wanted to help a local family & therefore we would will like to take this opportunity to raise money for a local boy Charlie Ilsley. We are going to do this by way of auction which will include donations from local business in Caversham.
Also the flower shop will be holding a raffle to win a 50 long stem rose bouquet on the 1st October where you can purchase raffle tickets, draw will be at 5.30 via Facebook live.
