2017 Reach for the Stars Masquerade Ball

This silent auction will culminate at our 2017 Reach for the Stars event. We will end online bidding on Friday, October 20th at midnight. Bid sheets will be available at the event on Saturday, October 21st, for attendees to continue bidding on the items. All proceeds will go toward research projects for pediatric brain tumors, including a clinical trial for a new therapy for low grade gliomas that will change treatment options for the children affected by them.

Thea Danze was diagnosed at just 4 months old with a brain tumor. Throughout her 10 years of life, she has faced multiple surgeries, therapies, and been on chemo therapy for all but about 18 months, total. She has suffered many side effects of these treatments, including physical disabilities, visual loss, hormone deficiencies and emotional difficulties. Her parents established Thea's Star of Hope to bring hope to all children affected with brain tumors by funding research and family support programs that will help these kids to live and not just survive.
