Manitoulin Streams Fishmas Sock Auction!

Join us for the Manitoulin Improvement Association's first-ever fundraising sock auction! Funds raised from the auction will support a variety of important community projects, including environmental preservation and educational initiatives on Manitoulin Island. By participating, you’ll help us fund initiatives that make a real difference in preserving the island’s natural beauty, enhancing community spaces, and increasing environmental awareness for residents and visitors alike. Manitoulin Streams Improvement Association is grass roots, a not-for -profit organization that is focused on large-scale, community based efforts to rehabilitate aquatic ecosystems on Manitoulin Island, in central Ontario. We bring the entire community together to do this via joint private and public driven initiatives. Our efforts rehabilitate and enhance water quality and the fisheries resource on Manitoulin Island and Lake Huron which is fed by the streams. We came together in 2001, became incorporated in 2007 and achieved charitable status in 2011. Since our inception, we have completed 86 stream restoration projects, bringing over $7 million to our local economy.
