About Our Auction
A Taste of the 19th Century raises funds to support educational experiences connecting the past to the future. From field trips for school groups to Trekker Kids family activities to exhibits and storytelling, visitors of every age find a way to take a closer look at history and nature at Travelers' Rest State Park.

About Travelers' Rest Connection
Travelers' Rest Connection supports Travelers' Rest State Park through outreach, advocacy, and educational experiences connecting the past to the future. Regular programs include Saturday Storytelling speaker series, Trekker Kids family activities, Indigenous Demonstration Days, and onsite and virtual field trips for classrooms. The Connection also supports permanent and temporary exhibits in the Park's Visitor Center.
