The Taste of Shelby County brings together the community for a night of food, fellowship and fundraising to support the Shelby County Schools Education Foundation. The Education Foundation supports various initiatives of Shelby County Schools that increase student achievement including co-curricular opportunities, professional development and classroom grants.

The Shelby County Schools Education Foundation exists to support, enhance and recognize excellence in Education in the 31 schools in the Shelby County (AL) school district. Our main focus is providing opportunities for teachers to provide innovative and engaging spaces and activities in their classrooms. We do this by supporting professional development, stipends and awarding grants annually.
