The Wish Project Open Your Heart Auction 2023

The Wish Project's mission is to help families in need establish long-term residency by providing furniture, household goods, clothing/shoes, diapers/wipes and other baby goods as well as other essential items for the home and family.

We don’t just give essential items, however. In addition to the many projects that we do, we give newborn baskets to all new mothers. These baskets are beautiful and they contain everything the baby will need when they get home. We try very hard to include handmade sweaters, hats, and baby blankets. We want these newborn baskets to be very, very special. They may be Mom’s only “baby shower”.

We also give out a lot of birthday bags. A birthday bag has everything in it for a child to hold a birthday party and they are all done in different themes so the child can have the theme that they like the best. Do they like Spider-Man or princesses? We aim to please! We put a cake mix and frosting in each bag, as well as a really great birthday present.

Any time that we can give our clients something that goes beyond “essential” or “basic “, we really try to do that. We want people to leave here feeling happy and feeling that we care about them. Everyone deserves to feel special.

The money raised in this auction will go toward these things and the many projects that The Wish Project will do this year, including: "BITS" (Basic Items for Toddler Success) Bags with educational and developmental toys for young children, Mother's Day bags, filled backpacks with all of the school supplies needed for thousands of Merrimack Valley children and our The Magic of Christmas project, which distributes several thousand gifts to area families in need annually.

There is absolutely no other organization in this area that does everything that The Wish Project does and we are so very very proud of the work that we do.

Please bid early and often! Everyone loves a deal, but we are hoping to sell everything at its value or more. All items are donated and every penny goes right back into our organization.

Items purchased at our auction can be picked up anytime that we are open, which is Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
