TRU Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer-based animal rescue organization whose mission is saving adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters across the country.  TRU Rescue works with a network of shelters from other states to identify those dogs most vulnerable with the goal of finding their forever homes.

Our mission is two-fold – as much as we work to provide our rescues with a chance to live their best lives, equally as important is finding those individuals and families who are ready to form a lifetime bond of love and loyalty.  Since 2017, TRU has rescued countless dogs, transporting them to safety in volunteer foster homes and ultimately matching them with loving adopters.

Your support ensures we can continue to provide the services that save animal's lives: transport from shelters, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, heartworm and other critical medical treatments.  Adoption fees are charged to help offset the expenses, but it is never enough! We are only able to continue our work through the ongoing generosity of our donors and sponsors.  Your donation, large or small, will save a life and bring loving companionship to a family in-waiting.
