About Our Auction

Bald is Beautiful is so fortunate to have an amazing community made up of volunteers, adopters, and fans of our work. Every time we have auctions like this, we're grateful to everyone who participates by donating and bidding.

This year, we're especially excited to include hand-made items by our talented team of seamstresses, as well as one-of-a-kind donations for your dogs. Occasionally for you, but mostly... the dogs.

All proceeds from our auction will help cover administrative costs ranging from vet bills and medications to cleaning supplies and utilities. The generous support of our extended family makes our work possible.

Bald Is Beautiful specializes in the rescue and placement of dogs in need. We concentrate on hairless and small breed dogs and are known by many as a Chinese Crested rescue.

By involving and educating the community through our various web pages and fundraisers Bald Is Beautiful works to raise the public’s awareness of the plight of the homeless animals, as well as realizing the benefits of adopting a dog through rescue. Our dogs are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and receive all medical treatments that our vets deem necessary before they are placed in carefully screened forever homes.
